Promoting Cultural Awareness Through The Arts

Art

Art is used to describe several things: a study of creative skills, a process of using the creative skills, a product of the creative skills, and the audience’s experience with the creative skills. The creative arts are a collection of disciplines that produce artworks that are compelled by a personal drive and echo or reflect a message, mood, or symbolism for the viewer to interpret. Art works are defined by purposeful, creative interpretations of limitless concepts or ideas in order to communicate something to another person. Art works sometimes are explicitly made for this purpose or interpreted based on images or objects. Art is something that stimulates our thoughts, emotions, beliefs, or ideas through the senses. Art is an expression of an idea and it can take many different forms and serve many different purposes.

The Art Division of World Heritage Cultural Center was inspired by Ms Priya Kanhai(August 20, 1979 - December 27, 2009) Amanda loved to draw, but as life happened, her talent was never really nurtured. A successful business woman, Amanda sets a perfect example of what our Center is about. We are here to invite all young and old members with a love for the arts and fuel it with the right passion and drive. Amanda was a strong, beautiful, and independent woman who embraced the world with her charm and beauty. She lives on in our hearts and her love for the Arts lives on at World Heritage Cultural Center.
